CIRCULATION
SERVICE:
Reading materials are issued to bonafide library card holders of the
university.
REPROGRAPHY SERVICE:
The library is having two photocopying machines are available and
nominal cost i.e. 0.50 paise per copy is collected from the library
users.
INTER-LIBRARY LOAN SERVICE:
For the benefit of the users to procure documents which are not
available in our Library, the reputed medical libraries may be
consulted for procuring the copies of documents/articles etc with a
nominal cost.
SCANNING OF READING MATERIALS:
As soon as receives the current journals, the library staff
scans the contents of journal and send to the same the concerned
faculty/P.G, and other library users through e-mail. The library
staff helps the users in scanning of books, images, etc.
INTERNET
FACILITIES:
The library is having 24 desktop computers exclusively for browsing
internet through National Knowledge Network for the use of faculty,
postgraduate doctors of MD/DM/M.Ch/PDCC etc, postgraduate students
i.e. M.Sc., M.P.T.

OF LIBRARY:
SVIMS
Central library was adopted ‘KOHA’ Library automation software during
2014. All the library resources being computerized and day-to-day
activities will be carried out with the help of KOHA automation
software.
