• ERMED CONSORTIUM: National Medical  Library, New Delhi provided access for 241+ E-journals on free access.
• The National Cancer Grid : TATA Memorial Hospital, Mumbai (TNH) providing free access to ‘Clinicalkey’ (Elsevier) and some OVD SP Journals (Elsevier 117 E-Journals: 87 E-Books,  Wolter Kluwer E-Journals 16 and one e-book).

Activities

 

v  CIRCULATION SERVICE: Reading materials are issued to bona fide library card holders of the SVIMS University for a limited period.

v  REPROGRAPHY SERVICE: The library is having photocopying facility and collecting nominal cost i.e.0.50 paise per copy

v  SCANNING OF READING MATERIALS: The library is providing Current Content Awareness Services to the concerned faculty and P.G. students through e-mail.  The library staff helps the users in scanning of articles, images etc.

v  INTERNET FACILITIES: The library is having 35 nodes exclusively for browsing internet through National Knowledge Network for the user of faculty and students.

Ø  AUTOMATION OF LIBRARY: SVIMS Central library was adopted ‘KOHA’ library automation software during 2014.  Online public access catalogue (OPAC) introduces.  All the library resources being computerized and day-to-day activities will be carried out with the help of KOHA Automation software.
