The Department of Radiology serves as the "eyes" of modern medicine, providing a vital bridge between patient symptoms and accurate clinical diagnosis. By utilizing the latest in medical imaging technology, we allow for the visual inspection of internal organs without incision, ensuring that every surgical or medical treatment plan is backed by precision and clarity.

Handling approximately 350,000 exams annually, our department supports diverse medical fields including oncology, trauma, and emergency services. We are committed to delivering high-quality diagnostic and interventional services through a combination of cutting-edge technology and clinical expertise.

Core Diagnostic Capabilities

Computed Tomography (CT): Two 128-slice CT scanners (Siemens and GE) for high-resolution 3D imaging, cardiac calcium scoring, and whole-body angiography.
Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI): 1.5 Tesla Siemens Magnetom Avanto operating 24/7, offering fMRI, fiber tracking, MR spectroscopy, and fetal imaging.
Digital & Portable Radiography: Fixed DR/CR units and 8 portable X-ray units for ICU, wards, and operation theaters.
Mammography: Dedicated CR units for screening and diagnostics, including galactography and guided biopsies.

Ultrasound & Doppler Services

Interventional Radiology & Fluoroscopy

Minimally invasive therapeutic procedures reducing the need for open surgery:

Guided Procedures: FNAC, core biopsies (Liver, Kidney, Breast), and pigtail insertions.
Vascular Interventions: Embolization of tumor vessels and balloon dilatation.
Fluoroscopy: Contrast studies (GI/Urinary), Barium meals, and IVUs.
