  • Dr A. Chakrapani Memorial Oration, Gold Medal 2018, by the  Andhra Pradesh TB & Chest Diseases Association at Madanapalle, November 2018.

  • Dr Yellapragada Subbarow Memorial Oration, Gold Medal 2018, by the Indian Medical Association (Vijayawada), 2018.

2 Dr M. Aruna, Assistant Professor was awarded “V.D. Nada Gowda  Best  All India Annual Thesis Award 2018” for work during the 74th Annual Conference of the Association of Physicians of India (APICON 2019), at Kochi 7-10, February 2019.

3. Dr V. Pradeep, Postgraduate Junior Resident  in MD (Medicine) (2017-2020) won the Best paper Award (Platform Presentation) (Cash Prize of Rs 5000/-)  for the paper titled “Aetiology, clinical presentation and outcome in patients with community acquired pneumonia requiring hospitalisation: a prospective study”  in the Award Session at the 47th AP State Chapter of Association of Physicians of India  (AP APICON 2019) at Guntur,  13-15 September, 2019.

3 Dr G. Niveditha, Junior Resident Postgraduate student in MD (Medicine) (2016-2019) won the Best paper Award (Platform Presentation) (Cash Prize of Rs 5000/-)  for the paper titled “Study of  burden, clinical characteristics, method of confirmation of diagnosis and treatment outcome in patients with  extra pulmonary tuberculosis: a prospective study”  in the Award Session at the 46th AP State Chapter of Association of Physicians of India  (AP APICON 2018) at Kuppam, 7-9 September, 2018.

4. Dr A. Praveen, Junior Resident Postgraduate student in MD (Medicine) (2016-2019) won the Best Paper  Award Free Paper (Platform Presentation) for the paper  titled “Burden of drug-resistant tuberculosis in “previously treated” smear-positive  pulmonary tuberculosis patients:  a prospective study” in the Award Session at the 46th AP State Chapter of Association of Physicians of India  (AP APICON 2018) at Kuppam, 7-9 September, 2018.

5. Dr V. Pradeep Junior Resident Postgraduate student in MD (Medicine) (2017-2020) won the II Best Poster Award  (Miscellaneous Section,Cash Prize of  Rs 500/-) for the poster  titled “Stevens-Johnson syndrome (SJS) / toxic  epidermal necrolysis (TEN) overlap syndrome due to oral phenytoin” at the 46th AP State Chapter of Association of Physicians of India  (AP APICON 2018) at Kuppam, 7-9 September, 2018.

6. Dr T. Sowjanya Lakshmi Junior Resident Postgraduate student in MD (Medicine) (2017-2020) won the II Best Poster Award  (Nephrology Section,Cash Prize of  Rs 500/-) for the poster  titled “Hypokalemic paralysis with distal RTA (Renal Tubular Acidosis) as presenting feature of Sjogren’s syndrome” at the 46th AP State Chapter of Association of Physicians of India  (AP APICON 2018) at Kuppam, 7-9 September, 2018.

  • Dr. Alladi Mohan was awarded the Andhra Pradesh Scientist Award 2008  by the Andhra Pradesh State Council of Science and Technology, Dept. of   Environment, Forests, Science and Technology, Government of Andhra Pradesh,catalysed and supported by the Rashtriya Vigyan Evam Prodyogiki Sanchar Parishad (RVPSP), Department of Science and Technology (DST), Government of India. 

  • Dr. Alladi Mohan was awarded the Fellowship of the Indian College of Physicians (FICP) at the 64th National Conference of the Association of Physicians of India (APICON2009) held at Greater Noida, National Capital Region,  29 January – 1 February   2009

  • Dr. Alladi Mohan delivered the “Ranbaxy Oration”  (Salient clinical characteristics of severe falciparum malaria in adults in the tropics) at the 64th National Conference of the Association of Physicians of India (APICON2009) held at Greater Noida, National Capital Region 29 January – 1 February   2009.
