Eligibility:

The candidates for admission in to the UG courses offered should have passed Intermediate(10+2) with Science subjects (Physics, Chemistry, Biology) and English (core) / (elective)with aggregate of 45% marks from Board of Intermediate education or any other recognized board like AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE/NIOS or other equivalent Board.

5% marks is relaxed for SC, ST & Backward class candidates in the above subjects.

 the candidates have to get rank in the   AP EAPCET to qualify for the admission  in to Bachelor of Physiotherapy.

MASTER OF PHYSIOTHERAPY (MPT) COURSE

Duration of the course: 2 years

Eligibility:

The candidates for admission to this course should have passed Bachelor of Physiotherapy from a recognized institute and completed internship at the time of applying.

Method of Selection:

The Method of selection is based on the following criteria.

 Entrance exam :

1.     The selection is based on the  Rank secured in the entrance test conducted by SVIMS University, at BPT standard. The mode of test shall be on 100 multiple choice questions. The duration of the examination shall be 90 minutes.

2.     Total percentage of marks secured in BPT, if same rank is secured in the entrance exam.

3.     Elder person based on the date of birth, if same rank is secured in the entrance and same marks are secured in BPT course

  ELIGIBILITY:

Candidates with a Master of Physiotherapy (MPT) degree awarded by this University or any other University recognized by the UGC are eligible to register for Ph.D. course under the Faculty of Physiotherapy

COURSE DURATION:

Minimum-3 years maximum –5 years

• A total number of 8 candidates have been awarded PhD in Physiotherapy and 4 scholars are pursuing PhD right now
