1. Conducted Inter-College Seminar in 2016

“ Inter College Seminar ” department of Physiology, SVIMS-SPMC(W) , Tirupati.

The Inter college Seminar was conducted by department of Physiology for 1^st year MBBS students of 5 colleges i.e. SVIMS-SPMC(W) , Tirupati, SVMC, Tirupati, RIMS, Kadapa, AIMSRC,Chittoor and RVSMC, Chittoor.

2. Conducted Group Dynamics in 2016

Group dynamics among the 1^st year MBBS students of SPMC(W), SVIMS.(2016-17) batch on 04.11.2016, among them we divided in to 5 groups named as Guyton, Einstein 2016, Lightening twisters, Hippocrites sparkling, Griffindis groups.  Each group consists of 30 students, again subdivided in to 2 batches consists of 15 students each batch.  We selected 5 topics from “Nerve Muscle Physiology” & 5 topics from “Gastro Intestinal Tract” By lucky dip system students selected the topic from each batch one student is speaker & presented the topic by using chalk & board with in the time of 10 min.  Each group is monitored by one faculty & one hour time is given for preparation.  Grading was given by staff & group leaders among them best performance is done by Ms. T.Pooja Sree  &  M.Kavya Sushrutha. 

3.       “1^st A.P. State Level Quiz in Physiology HAYAGREEVA – 2017” –

Organized In Sri Padmavathi Medical College For Women By Department Of Physiology.

 

The “1^st A.P. State Level Quiz in Physiology HAYAGREEVA – 2017” was conducted 21/04/2017 by department of Physiology for 1^st year MBBS students of 13 colleges i.e. Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, Tirupati, Sri Venkateswara Medical College - Tirupati, Govt. Medical College - Anantapur, Rajiv Gandhi Institute of Medical Sciences - Ongole, Narayana Medical College - Nellore, ACSR Medical College - Nellore, KIMS- Amalapuram, PES - Kuppam, PSIMS-Vijayawada, NRI Medical College - Vijayawada, RIMS, Kadapa, Apollo Medical College - Chittoor, Viswabharathi Medical College – Kurnool.

4.      Inter College Seminar Competition was conducted on 15.12.2017 in SPMC(W), Tirupati .  This competition conduct by department of Physiology SVIMS to aimed to create enthusiasm among students to learn the subject in department students from 7 colleges participation.

5. Conducted National level Quiz "Hayagreeva 2018"

2^nd A.P.State Level Quiz in Physiology HAYAGREEVA -2018 was conducted on 27.04.2018 in SPMC(W), TIRUPATI.  This unique initiative taken by Department of Physiology SVIMS SPMC(W) was well appreciated by all the visiting faculty & students 30 teams from 12 colleges participated in this event.  This quiz competition had 4 levels namely league Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final each companying 5 rounds.

6. Conducted National level Quiz "Hayagreeva 2019"

3^rd  A.P.State Level Quiz in Physiology HAYAGREEVA -2019 was conducted on 26.04.2019 in SPMC(W), TIRUPATI.  This unique initiative taken by Department of Physiology SVIMS SPMC(W) which provided an excellent academic platform for MBBS students of Andhra Pradesh was well appreciated by all the visiting faculty & students. 27 teams from 11 colleges participated in this event.  This quiz competition had 4 levels namely league, Quarter Final, Semi Final and Final each companying 5 rounds.
