• Dr. S.Nagesh Kumar, MCh Resident was awarded “Best paper presentation” at Midterm National Conference of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (MIDCON IASO) and presented a poster “Utility of whole body 18F FDG PET CT in comparison to MRI in the evaluation of clinically operable carcinoma cervix(FIGO stage I and IIA) patients” held at Hotel Fortune Grand Ridge, Tirupati  during  February 29^th – 01^st March 2020.

• Dr. C. Sai Praneeth, MCh Resident was awarded “Best poster presentation” at Midterm National Conference of Indian Association of Surgical Oncology (MIDCON IASO) and presented a poster “An unusual  case report of solitary retroperitoneal extramedullary plasmacytoma” held at Hotel Fortune Grand Ridge, Tirupati  during  February 29^th – 01^st March 2020.

• Dr. S.Chaitanya Vani, MCh Resident was awarded 2^rd prize in  “Dr.Vyageswarudu Best Paper Award” category at 43^rd APASICON – 2020 virtual Conference for paper titled “A retrospective analysis of implications of lymph node ratio and lymph node positivity on survival in node positive women with breast cancer” during  6^th – 8^th November 2020.  

• Dr. C.Sai Praneeth, MCh Resident was awarded 3^rd prize in  “Dr.Vyageswarudu Best Paper Award” category at 43^rd  APASICON – 2020 virtual Conference for paper titled “A prospective study to analyse the pattern of axillary lymphnode metastasis individually at each level and prevalence of positive Rotter’s nodes, level III and skip metastasis in patients undergoing axillary lymphnode dissection for carcinoma beast” during  6^th – 8^th November 2020.

International :

1. Dr.H. Narendra, Additional Professor, Department of Surgical Oncology was awarded FRCS (Glasg), Royal college of Physicians and Surgeons, Glasgow UK on 26th May 2017.

2. Dr.H. Narendra, Additional Professor, Department of Surgical Oncology was awarded John N. Kapoor Travelling Fellowship of Indo-American Cancer Association (IACA) for special training in Sarcoma at Sarcoma Oncology Centre, Santa Monica, California, USA under the mentorship of Dr. Sant P Chawla. Trained in the multidisciplinary management of complex extremity and retroperitoneal sarcomas on 4th February 2017 to 13th March 2017.

3. Dr. H. Narendra, Additional Professor, Department of Surgical Oncology was availed  Detroit Visiting fellowship of Indian association of surgical oncology under Prof. Donald Weaver, Chief, Department of Surgery and Surgical Oncology, Detroit Medical Centre, Wayne State University, Detroit, Michigan on  22th May 2017 to 27th June 2017.

National:

1. Dr.B. Manilal, Assistant Professor, was awarded fellowship FAES in 17th Annual National Conference IAESCON-2016 at Meerut on 17th October 2016

2. Dr. R.E. Azhagamuthu, MCh Resident, won first prize in Vyagreshwarudu award for best research paper presentation in APASICON – 2016 held at Gitam Medical College, Vishakapatnam during 25th -28th August 2016.

3. Dr. R.E. Azhagamuthu, MCh Resident, won second prize in Best State Chapter award paper in ASICON – 2016 held at Mysore during 14th – 18th December 2016.
