SVIMS University Gold Medal for Annual
Nephrology Essay Competition
The
Department of Nephrology is announcing the 1stSVIMS University
Gold Medal for Annual Nephrology Essay Competition. The essay competition is
for the students of DM/DNB Nephrology of our country. The first prize is a
gold medal and second prize is a cash award. The Department of Nephrology
confers the prizes on behalf of SVIMS University. The winners shall be
bestowed the prizes on the SVIMS University Day, which falls on 26th
February every year.
The
topic of essay for this year is “Protein Trafficking Defects in Inherited
Renal Disease”
The
topic was suggested by Dr. K. V. Dakshinamurty. An eminent panel of senior
Nephrologists evaluated the manuscripts. The panel included, Dr. R.
Padmanabhan, Dr. Amit Gupta, Dr. HS Kohli, Dr. Sreelatha, Dr. Santhosh
Varughese.
