The Department of Surgical Gastroenterology is headed by Dr. P. Sriram .M.Ch (SGE)...Dr.P.Sriram underwent master degree in General Surgery from Madurai Medical College in 1997 and then M.Ch (SGE) from Madras Medical College in 2005.He is associated with the institute since 2006,and now he heads the department of surgical gastroenterology. The department of Surgical Gastroenterology is adequately staffed with 3 M.Ch (SGE) faculty and six post M.S senior residents.
