  • Dr. T. Srikanth (3rd year) - Comparative study of open TLIF vs minimally invasive inter body fusion for lumbar spondylolisthesis.

  • Dr. P. Rajesh (2nd year) – Measurement of intraoperative intracranial pressure and cerebral perfusion pressure for predicting surgical outcome in severe traumatic brain injury.

  • Dr. Vivek Sharma (2nd year) - A prospective study on optimal timing of cranioplasty in cases of decompressive craniectomy.

  • Dr. Jagtap Rukmaji Prakash (2nd year) - Comparative  study of open and  minimally invasive lumbar  fusion  procedures  for lumbar spondylolisthesis  based on clinical  outcome, muscle  injury  markers and imaging  changes.

Thesis work carried out in collaboration with other departments

·         Dr. B.C.M.Prasad was a Co-guide- Department of Radiology- MRI evaluation of spinal canal tumors – correlation with histopathology

·         Dr. B.C.M.Prasad was a Co-guide- Department of Pathology - Expression of Pp53 and EGFR in glioblastoma multiformae

·         Dr B.C.M. Prasad was chief guide for the thesis of A. Viswanath reddy, Associate Professor, college of Physiotherapy, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences Tirupati 2014, entitled “A prospective randomised controlled trial on the effectiveness of low intensity laser therapy on the wound healing dynamics in pressure ulcers”.

·         Dr B.C.M. Prasad was Co - guide for the thesis of Dr. V.S. Khaja Naseeruddin, III year M.D., Radio diagnosis, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences Tirupati 2016, entitled “Differentiation of typical from atypical and malignant meningioma”.

·         Dr V V Ramesh Chandra was Co - guide for the thesis of Dr. V.S. Khaja Naseeruddin, III year M.D., Radio diagnosis, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences Tirupati 2016, entitled “Differentiation of typical from atypical and malignant meningioma”.

·         Dr B.C.M. Prasad was Co - guide for the thesis of Dr. B. Suguna, III year M.D., pathology, Sri Venkateswara Institute of Medical Sciences Tirupati 2016, entitled “Utility of intraoperative squash cytology for the diagnosis of CNS lesions”. 

·         Dr V V Ramesh chandra was Co - guide for the thesis of Dr. M.R.
