1.      Dr. K.Nagaraj, Professor & Head has assisted District Surveillance team in Chittoor District in contact tracing and in usage of rapid diagnostic kits during Covid 19 pandemic.

2.      Dr. K.Nagaraj, Professor & Head has worked as member of Technical committee appointed by Government of Andhra Pradesh to study and analyse CLIA results as part of sero- surveillance of covid-19 in Andhra Pradesh.

3.      Dr. K.Nagaraj, Professor & Head has worked as epidemiologist to advise on sero- surveys on covid-19 which were conducted in different districts of Andhra Pradesh.

17.  Under the guidance of Dr.Chandrasekhar Vallepalli, Ms. Obullam Srisai student of MBBS-III of SVIMS- Sri Padmavathi Medical College for Women, Tirupati has been awarded the Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) Short Term Studentship (STS) 2019 for the project entitled, “Assessment of risk of type 2 diabetes mellitus in tuberculosis patients using Indian diabetes risk score in rural area of Chittoor district: A cross-sectional study” (Ref. No. 2019-00831) and received completion certificate in 2020.
